Retired govt health official found dead in Chandauli

A 63-year-old retired government health official, who was missing since December 4, was found dead in Alinagar police station area here, police said today.

Body of Pramod Shankar Pathak, a resident of Sunderpur in Varanasi, was found near Bhupauli pump canal yesterday, Station Officer of Alinagar Arun Yadav said.

The body has been sent for post-mortem and further probe is on, he said.
