Rich tributes were paid to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her birth centenary today at various functions organised in Haryana and Punjab.
Floral tributes were paid to Indira Gandhi at a function organised at separate venues here by Haryana and Punjab units of the Congress.
Homage was also paid to the former prime minister at the functions which were organised by the party at the district- level in the two states.
After paying tributes at the party office here, Haryana Congress president Ashok Tanwar led a motorcycle rally which began from here and would culminate at the former prime minister's memorial 'Shakti Sthal' near Raj Ghat in Delhi.
