A 30-year-old rickshaw-puller was stabbed to death after he allegedly slapped a man who had brushed against him in East Delhi's Vivek Vihar area.

The two attackers -- Rajender Kumar (23) and his juvenile brother, have been arrested. Kumar, car accessory supplier, had been sent to judicial custody while his minor brother was sent to a juvenile home, police said.

The victim, Rajesh Saran, was returning home last night when Kumar brushed against him due to which the goods Saran was carrying fell on the road. This led to an argument between the two and Saran slapped Kumar.

Infuriated over the fight, Kumar went home and returned with a knife, accompanied by his brother. They then stabbed Saran and fled.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, the official said.
