Congress candidate from Sangrur Lok Sabha seat Vijay Inder Singla today said that 'Right to Health' to all, which is included in Congress manifesto, will create an estimated 60 lakh jobs in the health sector by 2020.
"Through the 'Right to Health' we will get an increased spending in health sector under the 12th Plan," Singla said addressing a gathering here, adding that an estimated 60 lakh jobs in the health sector will be generated by 2020.
He pointed out that the Rs 449 crore PGI Sangrur Hospital being established at village Ghabdan (Sangrur) with the help of Centre is a step not only for providing quality health treatment but also for increasing business activity and providing new jobs in the region.
Singla, is seeking re-election from Sangrur seat and is fighting the polls against SAD's Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa.
