Actress Rooney Mara is in talks to star in the director David Fincher's upcoming HBO series "Utopia".
The 30-year-old actress who has collaborated with Fincher, on films like "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" and "The Social Network," will play Jessica Hyde on "Utopia", reported The Wrap.
Fincher, 52, will direct every episode of the first season of the one-hour drama, written by "Gone Girl" author Gillian Flynn.

"Utopia" is based on the hit British series that Dennis Kelly created.
According to an insider Mara's representatives were initially unwilling to pursue the project, as a TV project calls for multi-year commitment.
But Fincher, who shares a creative bond with Mara convinced her to join him for the HBO show.
