Russell Brand's show gets second series

Executives at the FX channel have revealed that they are giving the 37-year-old comedian another seven episodes of the programme to air in the autumn, reported Sun online.

The deal is rumoured to be worth around 125,000 pounds.

"Russell's had a tough time of it in recent months but TV audiences still like watching him in the US.

"He had already announced that he wanted to focus on comedy instead of films, so this will have come as welcome news to him," said a source.
