Sajal Chakraborty was today appointed as the Chief Secretary (CS) of Jharkhand.
A few months ago Chakraborty was roped in as the acting Chief Secretary, but he vacated after Sudhir Prasad was appointed to the post.
Apart from being the CS, Chakraborty will hold additional charges as member of Revenue Board and additional CS of Civil Aviation department, a government notification said here.
Prasad has been appointed as Director General of Shree Krishna Lok Prasasan Sansthan, formerly known as Administrative Training Institute.
Prasad will also hold additional charges of departments for Drinking and Sanitation, the notification said.
