Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan today condemned the terrorist attack on Amarnath pilgrims, saying the perpetrators should not call themselves Muslims.

Terrorists killed seven Amarnath pilgrims, including six women, and injured 19 others as they struck at a bus in Kashmir's Anantnag district, in the worst attack on the annual pilgrimage since the year 2001.

"They don't follow Quran, they don't follow the Prophet yet they call themselves Muslims. Every Muslim should be ashamed of this cowardly act," Khan tweeted.

Many Bollywood celebs including Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Shekhar Kapur and Farhan Akhtar, among others have also condemned the attack.

"Saddening to see innocent lives being taken. Prayers for the victims and may God give strength to the families of the #AmarnathYatra pilgrims.

"Saw pilgrims determined to continue yatra inspite of the dastardly attack. Faith makes you brave and will always win over cowardice and terrorism," Shah Rukh tweeted.
