Sampala accuses police of implicating his supporters

Hoshiarpur MP and Union minister of state for Social Justice and Women Empowerment Vijay Sampla had accused police of implicating his supporters in cooked- up cases at the behest of 'somebody'.

However, the senior leaders of his rival faction, including Phagwara Corporation Mayor Arun Khosla, BJP Block(rural) President Inderjit Khalyan and Mehtan village Sarpanch Manjinder Singh Mehat held a press conference here yesterday, accusing Sampla of pressurising local police to register case against supporters of local BJP MLA cum CPS Som Parkash.

Sampla in a press conference on Saturday had accused the police of implicating his supporters in a cooked up case at the behest of "somebody".
