Sandalwood tree stolen from HC judge's residence

 

According to a written complaint made by the High Court protocol officer, the tree was stolen from the residence of the judge located on Cantonment Road of the city on Tuesday night, said Cantonment police inspector Sk Sarif-ud-din said.

It was surprising as to how an old tree was felled and its trunk measuring 10 feet long and three feet girth was stolen from the high security residential complex located in a high security zone.
