Sandra Lee honoured at cancer research event

Celebrity chef Sandra Lee has been honoured at the A Hamptons Happening event for the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation in Bridgehampton.

Lee announced on May 12 last year that she had been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer.

Lee, 50, also gave a speech about her struggle with breast cancer, reported New York Post.

"It was a touching speech. Everyone was quiet at this point - rapt with attention," a source said.
