Santhal tribe of J'khand to adopt scientific dairy practises

"The farmers, which remained engaged in small-scale agriculture, is being educated by the experts of dairy development department and through Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) of Jharkhand, to improve their socio-economic conditions by adopting scientific dairy farming," an official relaese quoting Dalip K Gosain, Head of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, (KVK) and Dairy Training Centre of the NDRI said here.

Dairying has immense potential in the district for improving the economic condition of the dairy farm families in general and of Santhals in particular, said Gosain at the programme which concluded here.
