School girl dies in accident, 18 injured

An 11-year-old girl died and 18 others, most of them school children, injured when their autoricksaw, collided with a earth remover today at Gangaikondan in the district, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Sasikala, police said, adding the injured, including the auto driver, have been sent to Government Medical College hospital here.
