School principal shot at, seriously injured

The principal of a private school was seriously injured when some unidentified persons riding a motorcycle opend fire at him today, police said.

The incident occurred at Achal Sahib village under Ranger Nangal police station on Batala-Jalandhar road when the victim was coming here in his car.

He was admitted in civil hospital here and later referred to Guru Nanak Hospital, Amritsar.
