The two-day second edition of Veterans Premier League will be held here from February 14.
Kerala Veterans' Cricket Association (KVCA), a fraternity of former state cricketers, is organizing the second edition of the league.
K Mohan, former player and President, KVCA observed that unlike last year, this time they were organising the league with a purpose to raise funds. 'We intend to raise funds for a purpose. Some funds have been earmarked for our former team mates who may be in need of funds for some emergency', he said.

BFit, a Dubai based Sports Equipment Manufacturing and Marketing firm has consented to be the title sponsor of the tournament, he said.
Six teams from across the state would participate in a T-20 format in the VPL. The tournament will be played at the Tripunithura Oval and Rajagiri College Grounds. There would be live telecast of the matches on both days.
The six teams that are participating are: Absolute Sobers, JK's Malabar Tigers, Kochi Royals, Kochi Tuskers, Malabar Warriors and Trivandrum Panthers.
The association, formed in 1995, is affiliated to the Board of Veterans Cricket in India.
