Security tightened for President's visit to Itanagar

Elaborate security arrangements has been made here for the proposed visit of President Pranab Mukherjee to address the first convocation of the NIT on November 21.

More than 3000 personnel of state police, CRPF and IRB have been deployed round the clock in all places between Naharlagun and Yupia through which the President's convoy will move, Additional SP Dipankar Mishra said.

Mukherjee will deliver the first convocation address of the National Institute of Technology (NIT)at Yupia.
