Select copra holds steady amidst weak demand

In a restricted activity, copra Alapuzha and copra Kozhikode prices maintained a steady trend at the spices market here today due to weak demand by stockist amidst adequate stocks availability.

Meanwhile, there was no (no) trading in local copra, pepper and ginger markets following indefinite strike called by traders in protest against the imposition of LBT (local body tax) by the government.
