A senior Naval officer today called on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami.
Vice Admiral HCS Bisht, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, met Palaniswami at the Secretariat here, an official release said.
The meeting was described as a 'courtesy call.'
Bisht was accompanied by Rear Admiral Alok Bhatnagar, Flag Officer, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Naval area, it said.
Chief Secretary Girija Vaidyanathan was present during the meeting.
