The two groups belonging to Vishnoi community clashed yesterday using lathis, swords and stones.

The trouble started on November 21, when the teachers and students of a government school who were carrying out a cleanliness drive as part of "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan", were obstructed and beaten up by a group of persons, Head Constable of Lathi Thana Ummed Singh told PTI on telephone.

Yesterday, the parents of the manhandled students challenged the perpetrators involved in the November 21 incident, leading to a clash, Singh said, adding, the police rushed to the village to control the situation.
