Severe heat conditions prevail in Punjab, Haryana

Most parts of and today experienced severe heat today with being the hottest in the region with a maximum of 42.4 degrees Celsius, officials said.

The MeT forecast dry in the region with possibility of thundershowers at isolated places during the next 48 hours.
