An idol of Shesh Nag was stolen from Chandroday temple in Vrindaban, police said today.
The idol was stolen on yesterday, they said.
"The dog squad was pressed into service but they failed to trace the thieves. Few employees of the temple are being interrogated as prima facie it appears to be handiwork of some insider," SSP Mathura, Rakesh Singh said.
