Shiv Kumar Dahiya appointed chief of Cong's C'garh SC dept

Congress today appointed Shiv Kumar Dahariya, a former MLA from Chhattisgarh, chairman of the SC department of state's Congress committee.

"Congress President Sonia Gandhi has approved the name of Shiv Kumar Dahariya as the chairman of the SC department of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee," a release from AICC General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi said.

The appointment is part of Congress' efforts to strengthen its wings in the state.
