Signal glitches briefly affect Delhi Metro services

Operations on Delhi Metro's Violet Line were today hit due to signalling glitches.

A metro official said the snag affected the communication between trains at Mandi House and the Operation Control Centre (OCC).

"Signalling issue (point flashing) led to some delay in services at Mandi House around 4 PM. However, Central Secretariat to Escorts Mujesar section was normal," the official said.

Earlier this month, signalling issues had brought Blue Line to its knees for two consecutive days, prompting an apology from DMRC authorities.
