Singareni Collieries to start 12 new coal mines

State-run Singareni Collieries would start 12 new coal mines, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said in the assembly today.

The 12 mines consists of six underground and as many opencast ones.

Rao said the government would make efforts towards getting Income Tax exemption for Singareni workmen in view of their difficult nature of job.
