Six injured in clash over land dispute in UP

At least six people were injured in a clash between two groups of the same community over a land dispute at Jalalpur village in Shamli district, police said today.

According to station house officer Umesh Rorea, the incident occurred yesterday when a former gram pradhan and a man had an argument over a piece of land which soon turned violent.

The injured were shifted to a hospital, he said.
