SJVN Ltd today posted 23 per cent jump in its standalone net profit of Rs 261.06 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2016.
"The company has posted a net profit of Rs 261.06 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016, where as the same was at Rs 211.9 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2015," the company said in a BSE filing.
According to statement, total income stood at Rs 616.13 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 as against Rs 554.78 crore in the year-ago period.
SJVN Ltd also informed that its board of directors at a meeting today approved an interim dividend of Rs 2.25 per equity share for the financial year 2016-17.
The company has fixed February 24, 2017, as record date for the purpose of payment of the dividend. The payment of dividend shall start from March 6, 2017.
