SJVN Q2 net profit drops 29 per cent at Rs 564.97 crore

Sutlej Jal Vidyut Jal Nigam (SJVN), a mini navratna PSU, today reported 29 per cent drop in net profit at Rs 564.97 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.

The company's net profit in the year-ago period was Rs 796.78 crore, it said in a BSE filing.

Total income of the company during the quarter dropped to Rs 1,077.65 crore for the quarter ended September 2015, against Rs 1,271.95 crore in the year-ago period.
