SL navy arrests five persons for trying to smuggle ganja

Five persons were arrested at Kalpetti in Sri Lanka today by navy personnel of the island nation on charges of trying to smuggle ganja from Tamil Nadu, police said here.

According to 'Q' branch police inspector Kennedy the five were arrested while trying to smuggle about 125 kg of ganja from Tamil Nadu to Srilanka in a country boat today.
