The slain Additional Superintendent of Police Gulzar Hussain, who was killed in an encounter with NDFB-Songbijit militants in Assam's Sonitpur district, was buried today with full state honours.
Hussain was buried at his home town in Bihpuria, about 180 km from here, after a 21 gun salute, Sonitpur Superintendent of Police Sanjukta Parasar told PTI here.
She said that operations by the army and CRPF's Cobra forces were continuing in Batasipur and its adjoining areas against the underground group.
