The All Women Police station here received a surprise visitor today when a five-foot-long snake snuck into the premises causing a mild flutter.
The reptile was spotted entering the station located in the heart of this town by a woman who had come to submit a petition this morning, police said.
As soon as she raised an alarm, all women police constables in the station rushed out, they said.
Later, a male police personnel along with another person came to the spot and killed the snake.
The police station is surrounded by shrubs.
