Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy has dubbed the move to authorise 10 central agencies to monitor and intercept information from any computer as "another example of dictatorship" on the part of the Central government.
Calling for immediate withdrawal of the order issued by the Home Ministry, Narayanasamy said in a tweet that the Centre was infringing on the right to privacy through the move.
He wanted the order to be withdrawn immediately and asked all secular parties to raise their voice against the move.
