Rajasthan minister Arun Chaturvedi today claimed that 99 per cent beneficiaries of various social security schemes of the state government are availing the benefits.
The state social and empowerment minister said the government has ensured that the benefits of these schemes reach the actual beneficiaries.
Ninety-per cent of the actual beneficiaries are getting pensions, he said, adding, "The BJP government made adequate arrangements for budget for social security pension schemes."

Chaturvedi also claimed that 80 lakh widows and 4.20 lakh differently-abled people are getting pensions in the state.
The pension is credited to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. This has saved Rs 125 crore which used to be given as commission to the postal department for providing the amount to beneficiaries through money order, the minister said.
He said the Rajasthan government has delisted several madrassas (Islamic schools) after verification and only such institutes which are registered are functional in the state.
The state government has also planned to make some buildings, including SMS hospital and the secretariat here, disabled-friendly. A civil audit of the buildings has been completed, he said.
