Soldier wounded in blast in Poonch

An Army jawan was wounded in a blast along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir today.

Naik Khubi Ram accidentally stepped on an unexploded device during patrolling along the LoC in Krishnagati area, a Defence spokesman said.

The device went off wounding him, he said adding the soldier was admitted to the Military Hospital in Rajouri.
