Canadian IT company SOTI has plans to hire 330 people in 2 years for its India operations for product development, sales and technology support.
"We are looking at workforce of 450 people in India in two years. Our Gurgaon office already has 120 people. We are bringing many new projects to India for which we need people," SOTI Inc Founder and CEO Carl Rodrigues told PTI.
SOTI deals in enterprise mobility solution that helps people work using mobile devices. It has seven offices across globe and operates in 22 countries.

"Our global business grew 46 per cent year-on-year. In India, we have seen 50 per cent quarter-on-quarter, which was above our global average. Besides end-to-end process management, we are now focusing on Internet of Things business," said Adele Beachley, SOTI MD for Asia-Pacific.
In India, SOTI has Bharti Airtel as its client and recently won business from Reckitt Benckiser and Lalit Hotel.
"We are bringing our Android application platform to India. Even a non-technical person will be able to make android application using it. First version of the product will be launched by March. Large presence of Android devices in India makes this platform attractive for our clients," Rodrigues said.
He said the company is also bringing its project to India under which it will develop technology solution to connect existing machines that are using Linux system with Internet so as to control them from any remote location.
"There are many products that are currently sold in the market like refrigerator, air conditioners, washing machines which operate using Linux-based system. These products can be used for machine-to-machine communications," Rodrigues said.
