Soybean futures gain nearly 1 pc on domestic cues

Soybean prices rose by Rs 34 to Rs 3,774 per quintal in futures trade on Thursday as traders created fresh positions supported by a strong spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, soybean for delivery in November was up by Rs 34, or 0.91 per cent, to Rs 3,774 per quintal in 78,880 lots.
Soybean for delivery in December rose by Rs 32, or 0.85 per cent, to Rs 3,793 per quintal in 72,860 lots. PTI
Market players said raising of fresh positions by speculators on high demand mainly led to rise in soybean prices here.
