Special 'logo' created with paper cups

The students of Camford International School here today created a special mosaic made of paper cups to commemorate the National Girl Child day.

They created the 'logo' of the day, by using 12,000 paper cups, filled with different color powder for the mosaic of size of 42 foot X 20 foot and presented iconic women of India and highlighted their achievements in their chosen field.

They held placards with slogans reading importance of a girl child and they wore masks demonstrating 'Save Girl Child.' Numerous posters were made to increase the consciousness of the people and offer new opportunities to the girl child in the society and exhibited as part of the awareness campaign.
 

The campaign was organised to serve the purpose of spreading the message of "Our Daughters our National Pride," school chairman N Arun Ramesh said.
