Special trains on 'Skanda Shasti' day on Oct 29

To clear the extra rush of pilgrims on account of the "Skanda Shasti" festival on October 29 at the famous Sri Subramania Swami Temple in Tiruchendur, special trains will be operated between Tirunelveli and Tiruchendur, a Southern Railway press release said today.

Tiruchendur - Tirunelveli SPECIAL ONE will depart Tiruchendur at 09.30 hrs and arrive Tirunelveli at 11.00 hrs.

In the return direction, the train will depart Tirunelveli at 13.35 hrs and reach Tiruchendur at 15.10 hrs

Tiruchendur - Tirunelveli SPECIAL TWO will depart Tiruchendur at 20.50 hrs and arrive Tirunelveli at 22.20 hrs

Tirunelveli - Tiruchendur (DOWN) SPECIAL TWO will depart Tirunelveli at 22.45 hrs and reach Tiruchendur at 00.15.Hrs (this Down Special Two from Tirunelveli will reach Tiruchendur just past midnight at 00.15 hrs on October 30, 2014).
 

The trains will stop at Palayamkottai, Seidunganallur, Thathankulam, SriVaikuntam, Nazareth and Arumuganeri stations, the release said.
