Spurned lover stabs teenaged girl to death

Angered over his love being spurned, a 22-year old youth stabbed to death a teenaged girl at Sulur near here, police said today.

Suresh had a couple of days ago expressed his love for the girl, a Plus Two student, but she rejected it.

Angered over the rejection, Suresh stabbed the girl in her throat with a knife when she was returning home last evening.

The girl admitted to a private hospital died late last night, police said adding a search was on for Suresh, who is absconding.
