Shares of Srei Infrastructure Finance today surged nearly 5 per cent after the company's consolidated net profit grew by over three-fold for the December quarter.
The stock ended at Rs 96.50, up 4.61 per cent on BSE. During the day, it jumped 7.75 per cent to Rs 99.40 -- its 52-week high.
On NSE, shares of the company gained 4.77 per cent to close at Rs 96.50.

On the volume front, 14 lakh shares of the company were traded on BSE and over 95 lakh shares changed hands on NSE during the day.
Srei Infrastructure Finance today said its consolidated net profit grew by over three-fold to Rs 67.21 crore for the third quarter ended December on account of higher income.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 17.16 crore during the same quarter of the previous fiscal.
Total income from operations during the quarter under review was Rs 1,128.96 crore, up 43.44 per cent as against Rs 787.02 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
