Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today announced setting up of an integrated computerised fitness centre and fully automated driving track here under PPP mode to make the process of issuing licences and fitness certificate transparent.
In her budget speech she said that such centres will be set up at divisional headquarters as well later.
Opening of 1,500 new routes for rural buses, strengthening and renewing 4,000 kms non-patchable roads with Rs 847 crore, Rs 160 crore to Rajasthan State Road and Transport Corporation (RSRTC) for offering concessional fares, road safety education in schools were among other announcements for the road transport sector in the state.

She said that Rajasthan State Road Safety Authority Act will be made to make provisions of road safety more effective.
Raje also proposed Rs 30 crore for development of existing airstrips in the state.
