A student was killed and 10 children were injured when a truck hit an auto-rickshaw on the Ambala-Jagadhri road today.
Seventeen students of a school here were seated in the auto-rickshaw when a truck hit the vehicle near village Saha, police said.
Bhavya Gupta (8), a Class II student, was killed, they said, adding the injured were admitted to Civil Hospital.
Most of the students have suffered minor injuries, police said.
According to police, the truck driver managed to escape and a case was registered against him.
