Subhash Kumar takes over as new Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand

Subhash Kumar today took charge as the new Chief Secretary of Uttarakhand, official sources said.

Kumar, who was formerly the Chairman of Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd (UJVNL), takes over from Alok Kumar Jain.

It is for the second time that Kumar has been appointed as the chief secretary.

Earlier, he had held this office from September 2010 to May 2012.
