Sugar ends steady on limited buying

Sugar prices remained steady at the wholesale market in the national capital today on scattered buying by stockists amidst ample supplies from mills.

Marketmen said besides sufficient stocks position, limited buying by stockists and bulk consumers, kept sweetener prices unchanged.

Sugar retail markets - Rs 34.00-36.00 per kg.

Sugar ready: M-30 (Rs 3,220-3,400); S-30(Rs 3,210-3,390).

Mill delivery: M-30 (Rs 3,100-3,245);

S-30(Rs3,080-3,225).
