Punjab Congress Chief Partap Singh Bajwa today charged Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal with showing no respect for democratic values and ignoring plight of people of Punjab.
Sukhbir was competing "only with Taliban" and trying to replicate their model of governing people by terror and diminishing democratic institutions, he alleged.
Bajwa said Congress had obtained 40.09 per cent votes in the last assembly elections whereas SAD got only 34.7 per cent votes.
Bajwa alleged that SAD had manipulated the victory by undemocratic means and was surviving with the support of BJP.
