Sultry weather prevailed in Delhi with mercury rising to 36.9 degrees Celsius, even as the weatherman predicted rains in some parts of the city for tomorrow.
"The humidity levels oscillated between 85 and 53 per cent. The maximum temperature was recorded at 36.9 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal," a MeT official said.
The minimum temperature settled at 28.1 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal for this time of the year.

"A partly cloudy sky is expected tomorrow and rains or thunder showers can occur in some places," the official said.
The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 37 and 35 degrees Celsius respectively, he added.
Yesterday the maximum temperature had settled at 36.2 degrees Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius.
