Suraj champion in Men's Single's of AITA-OTA men's tennis

Suraj Prabodh of Karnataka emerged as the champion in men's single category in AITA-OTA Men's ranking tennis tournament-2016, which concluded here today.

Prabodh beat Abhinansu Brothakur of West Bengal (6-4, 6-3) in the final match of the tournament, organised by Ganjam district tennis association in collaboration with All India Tennis Association (AITA) and Odisha Tennis Association (OTA).

Similarly Ansu Kumar Bhuyan (Odisha) and Avilash Mishra (Odisha) won the men's double category in the tournament. Bhuyan and Mishra defeated Rawant Ravi (Tamil Nadu) and Pradeep Deswal (Haryana) by 6-3, 6-7 in the final match in the category held on Thursday.

Several top ranking players from 14 states participated in the tournament.
