Swine flu claims 9 lives in Indore this year

Nine people have died of swine flu at hospitals in Indore so far this year, a health official said today.
Dr Asha Pandit, district in-charge of Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP), said laboratory tests confirmed that three patients, who died recently, in different hospitals in the city were infected by H1N1 virus.
Since January 1, as many as 32 swine flu positive cases have come to light in the city hospitals, she added.
