Syntel Q3 revenues up 13 pc at USD 209.9 mn

Syntel, an Indian American owned IT firm based in Michigan, has reported a growth of 13 per cent in revenues to USD 209.9 million in the third quarter of this year.

Syntel's revenue for the third quarter of last year stood at USD 186.4 million. The revenues increased four per cent sequentially from USD 202.5 million in the second quarter of 2013, a company release said.

The company employs nearly 23,000 people globally, majority of them being in India and the US.

"We made solid progress on our strategic initiatives during the third quarter and built on the successes we have seen year-to-date," Syntel CEO and President Prashant Ranade said.
 

"We are strengthening our customer relationships by investing in the technology areas that are relevant to our clients," he said.
