Uttarakhand Governor Krishan Kant Paul today advocated for taking said rotary clubs, schools and NGOs on board for the conduct of a safe Chardham yatra.
In a meeting with senior police officials on the eve of the commencement of the yatra, the Governor said a 'traffic squad' should be made consisting senior school students.
Traffic police should train these students and their help could be taken in traffic control and road safety, he said in the meeting.
