Tata Sons today announced the appointment of Banmali Agrawala as president- Infrastructure, Defence and Aerospace.
In his new role, Agrawala will report to the executive chairman N Chandrasekaran, the company said in a release issued here.
Agrawala will be taking up his new role effective October 1, 2017.

Prior to this, Agrawala was the president and CEO of GE South Asia.

VFS Global acquires visa service provider TT Services
Outsourcing and technology services specialist VFS Globaltoday said it has completed the acquisition of UK-based visa service provider TT Services (TTS).
TT Services operates 51 application centres in more than 35 countries and has 216 employees.
It offers a full range of high quality visa services for its client governments, partners and applicants.
"TT Services has extended industry experience of more than 15 years and is a trusted service delivery partner for its clients. I see a strong fit by TTS joining VFS Global. This will enable us to further enhance and extend our services towards our client governments and visa applicants," VFS Global Group CEO of Zubin Karkaria said.
